Year 3 enjoyed welcoming some unexpected and surprising visitors to school today!

Year 3 enjoyed their visit from Thumbs Up this afternoon. They enjoyed listening to the story “Have you filled a bucket today ” and have been challenged to spread kindness everywhere they go. They found lots of ways to cheer up the unhappy lady in the picture.

Following on from the Olympics last week, Year 3 have been able to handle a discus, shot and hammer. They decided they wanted to try and spin with a hammer.

Year's 3 and 4 enjoyed the athletics this afternoon, as part of our Olympic Day.

Today Year 3 have been using their knowledge of the 4 times table to help them solve problems. The pictures show some of the different ways they represented bags of sweets.

Year 3 are having a well earned 5 minute rest after their energetic rugby session on the field, which they thoroughly enjoyed even though they got very hot.
