A spotlight on 3D/CGI animators and the rad things they have animated. Animators feel free to DM links to your best works to showcase. Retired from Twitter
@SonicFront70231@JMako67 He was supposed to be SOME level of likable. Otherwise Obi Wan considering him a good friend and a hero makes no sense. Besides that: https://t.co/1eSEzlMRvU
@BeefyBigBoy@JMako67@SonicFront70231 Anakin's characterization in TCW comes from George tho. We know this. He talked extensively about wanting to get across his better qualities compared to his massive lows.

@NotSharp3@SystemZ3RO@Viva_Mehecano@bhangbhangducx As point out, considering thats the same show that has a male master die and it causing Devon to careen off to the Darkside in rage and pain, maybe not the best example. Lol
@Luke_Maxxing@ST4RKlLL3R@twinsunsticks Its funny, despite that, Legacy is the only post NJO series that isnt embarrassed about the NJO at all, the Vong actually actually have an inportant role to play. Its more a sequel to it then anything Denning
Movie so good I emulated a shot of one of its fights in my own project. And its much more then just fights. Can't wait for the general public to see it. Feels weird to have used a movie that isn't out yet for inspiration. @djaxx nailed it

Bound By A Cycle, an animated action short notably made by somebody who was harassed during the making of by a SORA shill till Sora was shut down, something Gutierrez himself mocked just a few months ago: https://t.co/ZuLNGJ9dBV
@matpolloy@LandoCommando44@Armafala You can't go from saying there always depicted competently until Endor then just make excuses when shown them very clearly not being so. Lmao. Yeah you can make up reasons why, but then your just doing the same thing writers who depict them as just bad shots do.
@matpolloy@LandoCommando44@Armafala And cloud city? Where they miss every shot and were absolutely not supposed to let anyone escape? Where they miss the 8 foot Wookie from point blank? https://t.co/FrnhmdBCnR
@matpolloy Yeah Man, Stormtroopers NEVER had bad aim in the OT:https://t.co/FrnhmdBCnR This is just him being a good sport and purposely missing the 8 foot Wookie from 5 feet away to be fair
@Catlover10000S@mobfighter63@OrangeHat2185 TCW overide CWMMP stuff all the time, because Lucas told them to. Remember when Ryloth being tidal locked was a big plot point in the EU? Immediately ignored. Ahsoka existing came straight from George, same with Maul's revival and the Chips. Lmao
Jorge Gutierrez, creator of El Tigre and The Book of Life, who has also repeatedly mocked GENAi output allowing himself to be involved in this is immensely disappointing. So here is so neat non AI Indie animations that came out recently. Thread/
Three AI animated series are heading to Prime Video streaming via Amazon MGM/AWS-backed GenAI Creators' Fund: 'Cupcake & Friends;' 'Love, Diana Music Hunters;' and 'Punky Duck' from Jorge Gutierrez.

‘BACKROOMS’ director Kane Parsons says he would get “no enjoyment” out of using generative AI on any project — “It defeats the purpose entirely for me.”
“I think I'm in the same boat as most well-adjusted people. If I could snap my fingers and make generative Al disappear forever, I probably would.”

@tonikopantoja Yeah man, when Jorge first showed his ass, I made a thread of smaller indie animation projects that I know didn’t use GenAi. There all so cool and I am sick of them getting thrown under the bus by sellouts https://t.co/dfYwQvCCZD

Most are probably burnt out by the Jorge Gutierrez situation reposted this after his apology, which sadly makes me quite sure he isnt sorry, justmore bitter his peers and Del Toro called him out. So below is a thread of SINCERE non Ai indie animators 👇
If you're any kind of creator, listen to me.
You do not need AI to create 2D or 3D animation or art. Honestly, you dont even need to know HOW to animate yourself. Sometimes, all you need is an idea, a vision, patience, and the right artist who can bring that vision to life. And if you cant afford an artist yet, thats okay too. You can always learn, practice, fail, and improve yourself so that way you can spearhead your own projects. Another option is also just saving your money so you can "indie" fund your project.
I’ve done both. Ive hired animators, and Ive also learned how to do it myself because, honestly, I got tired of waiting on people. I got tired of being disappointed by speed, quality, communication, or work ethic.
Personally for me, at some point, it became a "Fine ill do it myself" type of situation and literally "picked up the pencil" myself.
And I did. It took years. A lot of frustration, a lot of late nights, a lot of self doubt, but every step forward came from actually showing up for myself and my work. No shortcuts. Not pretending im an animator. actually being one. Not letting a machine, make my journey FOR me. What drives me is passion, discipline, and doing the work over and over again because I love animation. The best part is looking back and seeing that my work improved because of ME. Because I kept going. because I gave enough of a shit to get better, thats real human growth, no AI needed. You can do it too. Start from nothing. become something.
