Just saw a @Hyundai commercial stating you dont need a key to unlock your car door. Looks like they used a phone. Why dont car manufacturers just have people enter their fingerprints and unlock the car by touching the door or door handle? 🤔

3D Thinking is a risk-based analysis of the situation. Think of all possible outcomes, good & bad. 3D Thinking only works if you are honest with yourself. Honestly allows you to be clear & concise in your analysis. Pick the outcome that gives the most benefit with the least pain.

Having those standardized rates would allow investigators to create a strategy that would take those False Pos & False Neg rates into consideration. The @US_FDA EUA is useful but the use of a wide range of platforms adds to the uncertainty in uncertain times.

We need to educate the public on #COVID19 testing. Results are not the same in different areas, regions, & states. There is no standard testing platform, so the sensitivity & specificity are different, so there maybe people with False Positives & False Negatives walking around.

Standardizing the testing platforms would have helped in the effort to fight #COVID19. Knowing that everyone that was tested received their results from the same platform would allow investigators to know the true False Pos & False Neg rates.
