@JaredSandler The Rangers are getting rid of bad performance players (keeping Duran is weird) this is NOT about payroll. The ONLY way I believe the changes are for payroll is if Seager is traded. They would never publicly say they are shedding bad offensive players hence the payroll statement.
@BricePaterik So, I suppose on that comment, you think that the Semien/Nimmo trade was a "money savings" trade and not a trade based on performance. EVERYTHING they are doing is based on the players performance. So far they are letting go of everyone that I had marked as not being here in 26.
@NewbergReport Do you think it is possible that the Rangers will call up Walcott, next year or the year after, then have Seager as the all time DH to save his legs? Do you think Seager would be open to doing that or would it turn in to a “Devers” situation?
@Evan_P_Grant What it means is simple, no one would trade for him, just like Dane Dunning at the end of spring training. This also means that no one will claim him and he will end up in the Texas minor leagues.
@kennlandry At this point I could get behind demoting everyone to triple A, except the pitching and calling up the players from triple A. They couldn’t do any worse than what’s happening now.
