Hi @boardmanbikes@Halfords_uk I'm really struggling to source a replacement nut/bolt for the rear thru axle on my 2016 Boardman Pro 29er MTB. Couple of photos highlighting what I'm looking for. Would really appreciate it if you could tell me where I can buy please 🙏
📷Final cycle ride in France this year for @KTBooBewdley and a great effort pacing me up to Col de Saint Arnoux from Seillans. Unfortunately I couldn’t hold her wheel, she dropped me, and I finished a distant second. Enough said. https://t.co/tOu8ppzeZ4
Another big ride out to Tanneron this morning for @KTBooBewdley and possibly the last big one before we head home. She did so well again riding 80km with 1,000m of climbing, no mean feet in these temperatures 🥵 https://t.co/8YEF0VSqbW
Well, it's taken 3 weeks and close to 500 miles but finally I'm beginning to feel like my old self on the bike. So much more fun when you're not pedalling squares. Still way off pace but content with not struggling and happy just cruising around 😃 https://t.co/yhiu01BgiO
Morning coffee / lunch ride to Callian with @KTBooBewdley except without the coffee or the lunch in the end. Another great 64km effort by Kay which included 1,000m of climbing over Col de Saint Arnoux and Col d'Avaye. https://t.co/EYshSRme5X
Morning coffee ride out to Les Adrets with @KTBooBewdley this morning. Not sure which I'm more impressed with, Kay's 80k or her bike's 80k. https://t.co/9yTsfNvDWN
A ride of two halves today up to Col de Val Ferrier. From Seillans the climb was pretty much 15 miles long, climbing a little over 3,000ft. But once I was on the Route Napoleon, and bar a few short climbs, it was virtually downhill all the way home. https://t.co/jiALmKJioG
A big ride today for @KTBooBewdley to the lookout point near Bagnols-en-Foret. And on the back of back-to-back rides. 64km with 900m of climbing. Great job but have a feeling her legs are going to hurt tomorrow. https://t.co/dHz7NA1xAk
Really put the squeeze on @KTBooBewdley this morning on the road out from Bargemon up to Col de St-Arnoux. Barely had time to turn around at the top and roll back down to her before she appeared and crested the hill. Great effort 👏 https://t.co/70chaKbl0p
Morning coffee ride with @KTBooBewdley to Comps-sur-Artuby via Col du Bel Homme. Finally resolved my squeaky seat post. Only annoying noise now is the sound of my heavy breathing. https://t.co/pl9e7wPsKf
First ride out with Kay today and I think I made her work. I hope so because I was working hard on the Col de Saint-Arnoux climb out of Seillans. Only a 14 minute effort but guessing I was at my max HR well before I reached to the top of the climb. https://t.co/Qk3AuyLzN5
So, I won't be breaking any records this summer in France. Cycling for the love of riding will be enough. Was hoping for a longer ride today but a puncture from an old failed patch cut the ride short. Worse places to flat than Viaduct du Rayol though. https://t.co/lz07eRrieq
Back on 💩 home roads and it's that time again, my annual post-France Clows Top/Abberley 20 mile TT. Set my fastest time last year, beating my previous 2012 best by over a minute. Only gone and done it again taking another 1m 13s off my 2021 time ⏱️ https://t.co/I0cv954p8n
So, another great summer of cycling in 🇫🇷 comes to an end. This year I clocked up 1,300 miles with 114,000ft of climbing, or 2,100km and 35,000m in 🇪🇺 speak. Doubt I'll ever top last year but this comes a very close second 😃
