Creativity, problem solving and fabulous communication skills were displayed today in our winter STEM challenge. Groups worked together to design a trap for the naughty Elf. No Elf was injured in this project!
This week our fabulous crew fished with forces to create faces. Creativity led to finding and fishing for other forces to connect to @SSERCprimary @SLC_RAiSE

After predicting and investigating inside, the children explored their playground. Great excitement was had by every child!

STEM Friday this term exploring forces. Todayβs investigation involved different materials, building ramps and timing toy cars movement using stop watches.

Finally we had a spy in our midst and more inventive strategies and explanations to provide shelter.
These have shown imagination and great team work.
Room 3 have been investigating the world of our local mini beast friends. After carefully planning their bug hotels, they spent time gathering materials then in ever changing groups, worked together to build hotels for their chosen insects.
An excellent day at Kelburn Country Park. Children were all amazing. So much fun in the sun π.
