Pretty exciting to see this happening next week in Washington, D.C. 🇺🇸
A screening of UNBROKEN: The Untold Story of Shen Yun followed by a panel discussion on artistic freedom and transnational repression. Looking forward to it!
Excited to announce I’ll be hosting a film and panel discussion of “UNBROKEN: The Untold Story of Shen Yun” at the Capitol on July 22.
During the event I will be delivering opening remarks and discussing how the CCP is stifling artistic freedom transnationally.
We’ve been working hard recently on a special comedy short called Mr. Perfect.
What happens when extreme neatness meets absolute mess?
Watch till the end 👇

@CBSSunday It’s pretty clear that their experience is weaponized and used to turn public opinion against Shen Yun, a performance that brings beauty and hope in today’s world. I hope people get to see the show for themselves before judging on one-sided accounts (🧵6/6)
@CBSSunday No one ever said you get injuries because you disobeyed Mr Li. That is an outright lie
Why would they lie? Well, Jeff didn’t leave on the best terms and now has ties with Beijing Dance Academy which is basically a CCP entity… (🧵5/6)
We don’t often share our personal stories—but today is a day history cannot forget.
On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist regime launched a brutal campaign to wipe out Falun Gong—a peaceful practice that brought us and millions around the world health, joy, and inner strength.
Overnight, it was vilified. Our loved ones were forced into labor camps and tortured for refusing to abandon their faith.
It’s been 26 years. But our belief remains unwavering.
Through our art, we continue to share light, beauty, and truth—with the hope that one day, this injustice will end.

At Shen Yun, our artists hail from all over the world, but they share one thing in common: they’ve found freedom and purpose in America.
Many can’t return to China because Shen Yun shares the real, uncensored Chinese culture—the kind the Chinese Communist Party has tried to destroy.
But here in the U.S., we’re free to create. Free to believe. Free to celebrate this heritage. From choreography to costumes, from training to tech—it all comes together at our home in upstate New York.
Happy Fourth of July from all of us at Shen Yun!
