@CoachJohnWild July of 1986 I saw him hit 4 homeruns in a game. Bob Horner, Rafael Ramirez and Glenn Hubbard, and Murph and Claudell Washington. Bruce Benedict as C. That was my youth. Loved Bob Horner
@joe_spears7 Everyone made this out to be Miami or ND for the playoff spot. Anyone who saw Bama limp to the finish should have talked ND over Bama. And I'm an SEC guy
@Kreager @ER_CoachA At the expense of quality games they have increased their revenue. I do like your idea of reseeding once it gets to a certain round - perhaps in the semis. These games aside from BA and Baylor are unwatchable
@Themvols@KirkHerbstreit Agreed. I would add that the @wesruckerTBA s of the world do not appreciate the power of the keyboard that they wield in drumming up a frenzy in that 1% that is so vocal on social media, making it worse than it seems. He knows what he is doing and that saddens me.
@johnvarlas I feel the same way @johnvarlas. I grew up the son of a coach and I've always loved the energy of high schools in the spring. This week I was at BGA for my son's game in Franklin, and there was a soccer game, a softball game, a baseball game, a tennis match and kids working out.
@nut_history My father played against him in the '70's in Kingsport TN. He was the only batter to get a hit on him that day and he wore that badge with pride and told that story many times before he passed. I remember him pitching from second base against some people.
@CoachJohnWild@KrisFreemanPA@CoachTcom I've said for years that the 1-4 regional matchups aren't worth playing. Only 3 teams should advance out of district. 1 seed earns a bye to Semi. 2-3 seeds play each other.
