Today’s Spring Cleaning Outreach reminded us that small acts matter. We provided cleaning supplies to formerly homeless veterans in transitional housing, many preparing for inspections, but lacking essentials. It’s a simple way to meet a real, immediate need.

In 2025, Adopt a Hero became one of the most impactful Operation Joy outreaches in 3rd & Goal Foundation history.

The Adopt a Hero outreach continues! We delivered 121 gift bags to local veterans living in permanent supportive housing. Every veteran served was once experiencing homelessness, and we are honored to remind them they are seen and valued.

Today we transported clothes, toys, coats, hygiene items, and other gifts for 101 local veteran kids in need through Adopt a Hero.

Today we had the honor of picking up nearly 100 handmade blankets from the incredible students at Olentangy Liberty Middle School!

Each year, the entire 8th-grade class participates in a Veterans Day Service Project to give back to those who serve our country.
