@n6rfm@bg2bhc@BY2HIT Bob, your are doing marketing for 3B8DU as my call sign appears large on your PIC, Hi! , just joking. Indeed AO-123 is a real great bird to experiment with. Personally learning a lot, Thanks to the ASTRU-1 team. 73 Jean Marc (3B8BU)
@hermawan_wd Good evening, I had great fun with GC in the past. I need to check the setup and probably upgrade the sound modem. Thanks for suggesting I will try next week. 73 Jean Marc
Hi All, been away for some time but now back. I upgraded SDR Console to V3.3 and great work by Simon, see PIC QO-100. E.g. the band plan but I also sync Tx/Rx and don't have now to worry about Fx, the S-meter is much better but I need still to adjust the SDR gain, 73 Jean Marc
QO-100 experimental data beacon, getting quite good RX with the AMSAT-DL Multimedia High Speed Modem. Learning to use it and will try TX soon. 73 Jean Marc
@ITUSecGen Doreen, was a great honor for MARS and for me to make this first & to have the privilege to share with you the 3B8 experience about QO-100. Keep it up with such great support to the HAM community for the benefit of our younger generation in STEM and ham radio. 73 Jean Marc
@Tomek_SP5LOT@GumushAerospace@SatNOGS Tomasz, bravo but I will not upload any data from KILICSAT as reported uncoordinated with IARU. More providing no real value-added to HAMs, e.g. a simple digipeater. More may cause QRM to existing birds. We should discourage this kind of behavior on HAM bands. 73 Jean Marc
@TSKelso@SpaceX Hi T.S., Thanks.
I compared the pre-launch TLE with Space X live stream and could not see a difference. Even if there was any, it was perfect for HAM purpose, excellent. 73 Jean Marc
@scott23192@amsatf@uvsqsat Hi Scott, was out of bird hunting for a while. Just saw your post, any temporary TLE for INSPIRE-Sat 7? I am also putting the new birds in my database and try to shoot at them... 73 Jean Marc
@vk5qi Mark, thanks for your honesty. Fredy Damkalis actually scheduled the observation and full credit should also be be given to him. But the Award goes to the Station per our present rules. 73 Jean Marc
Dear All,
Not very active on Ham QRG theses days as quite busy with the 3B8 ARISS student contact planned for 1st week of March. But enjoying sailing /MM on Odyssee II, today's nice passage around Coin de Mire island on the sailing push-pull amplifier. 73 Jean Marc
It seems that Mark (VK5QI) was the last station to receive successfully Falconsat 3 (F3) signals.
Therefore request that anyone who may have received F3 after him after 21/01/2023 at 13:34:41 Hrs do claim so and provide proof by 27/01/2023 at midnight UTC. See Amsat-BBs. 73 JM
