@80s90sfootball Goal nets. You used to get really interesting ones in the World Cup, but you dont any more. For example in 1986 the goal nets in Mexico were ridiculously large, there was room to put a dining room table behind the goal line and have a nice meal with a few friends.
Anyone ever seen this film. Japanese. Best film I have ever seen, or at least one of them. 4 hour epic. Love, death, upskirt photography. https://t.co/2xqIfjkLNj
As some of you will remember, at about this time of night, I used to stick Mariah Carey up. Now it's all about the music of the Uyghurs. Just watch this. Mans chasing after a beautiful local maiden, they appear to cook a lot of bread this lot https://t.co/dtJ886bGAa
@JakartaCasual Im going out with a woman from Lithuania mate. Said when she used to go on holiday the KGB used to get on the plane with her to make sure she was coming back again FFS.
Been a stressful few weeks, but one thing that keeps me steady is learning Russian. I know you shouldn't really learn Russian, given the nefarious activities of Vladimir Putin. But I have made it my lifes work anyway.
@Side2Step Ha ha yes, but at least English French are easy to guess. I speak French Italian and some Romanian, they all fall into the same pattern. Russian is completely different gravy.
@Side2Step the good thing about Russian though, is that the letters completely sound out the word. There are no strange pronunciations. You read it, you say it. in that way, its fantastic.
@Side2Step Russians have 6 cases mate. Like Latin, which thankfully I used to study when I was a kid. So if you mess up the ending of a word, it completely changes the meaning of the entire sentence.
@JakartaCasual Ha ha yes. Thing is I dont really like 19th century novels like Dostoyevsky. I used to have to read a lot of French ones. So steeped in religion and culture that its hard to really relate to them.
