When Mikel complained about officials before, it was just "he's just a sore loser" yet he's now a PL champion, won a match and is still complaining. It's always been about raising the standard of officiating to the standard of the clubs in the league. So much work and preparation goes into these matches only to consistently be undone by processes and officials who are not fit for purpose and, most alarmingly, no improvement across the board. If anyone knows an organization that needs to be completely torn down and rebuilt, it's Arteta as that's exactly what he did at Arsenal.

Counter intuitive but from a gameplan standpoint, the red actually hurt United (and lets be honest, Foden isn't integral to how City play, regardless of how many pobrecito Phil headlines you'll see). Had to actually open up and play while City could sit and counter, with the hope they snatch a goal which they ultimately did. Credit to City for their organization defensively as well.

Mikel rightfully fuming over the penalty decision. Absolute garbage, the levels of the officiating continue to be so miserable compared to the league. Additionally, the VAR threshold in the box makes it essentially pointless now.
