I knew my brother and I were different but him idolizing Musk as a philanthropist genius was the cherry on top it smells a little too much like MAGA at home… get me tf out of here
Mom put on 90s music videos and I’m obsessed by how normal/natural the Spice Girls looked. In a world full of MAGA women with Mar a lago mugs, be a Spice Girl 😩
@kyl3_xx@wiisporttennis You articulated this so well… though I understand that the clunkiness of the rhetoric can feel like transphobia, it does popularize the dialogue around the immutability of sexuality. Or that sexuality is in fact not dependent on genitalia but rather gender. Just my 2 cents
@JohnAnthonyLife Point being, gender/culture wars were manufactured by the patriarchal system. Not all men, but always men. The behavior of some impacts all and manufactures even more lonely men who become prey to red-pill rhetoric, often presented as the only solution.
Ngl, earlier this year I tried to connect dots between the patriarchy, misogyny, misandry & manosphere to maybe explain how men are manufacturing their own demise. The more I read about the Cornell 7, the less I care about how lonely men say they are. You did this to yourself.
@JohnAnthonyLife The definition of the traditional man is rooted in subjugation and supremacy. Look at the manosphere. That then leads to the pink pill and anti-man rhetoric which alienates men who could have been better ones. I read a few testimonies of recovering incels who took the red pill 2/
@JohnAnthonyLife I absolutely agree and it actually relates to a lot of the research I’ve done. Hear me out: The system imposes norms and rules around gender and any deviation makes you an outcast. Today we get misogyny and misandry as two sides of the same coin. 1/2
