Bans on gender affirming care, drag performances, and even the ability to say the word “trans” are being passed at a increasingly rapid pace in the US.
All I can think of, is when I heard this said about the previous military trans ban:
“This will come with a body count.”
In OB/Gyn residency, the majority of the surgeons are female. Here are two papers that show that medical students and nurses both judge female trainees more harshly. Day in and day out, this can be traumatic and demoralizing.

Just a reminder that everywhere abortion has been put on the ballot, it won. Abortion won in red states, in blue states, in purple states.
Abortion is normal, and support for access to it is very popular everywhere.
In 2011, the ACGME limited consecutive work hours to 16 at a time. There was a 63% reduced risk in reported medical errors resulting in patient death.
The ACGME has since reversed this rule.
