🛡️ Prender una PC en 1994 era un proceso, no un botón

Tomaba tiempo.

Y requería atención.

No era algo automático.

Primero se encendía el monitor.

Después el CPU.

Si lo hacías al revés, podías pensar que no funcionaba.

La pantalla mostraba texto.

La memoria se contaba número por número.
Los discos se detectaban en tiempo real.

Si algo fallaba, aparecía ahí mismo.

Luego entrabas al BIOS.

Veías el procesador, la RAM, las unidades.

No era algo oculto.

El sistema te mostraba cómo estaba armado.

Después cargaba MS-DOS.

Nada de íconos.

Solo una línea que decía C:\> esperando órdenes.

Windows 3.1 no arrancaba solo.

Tenías que escribir WIN y presionar Enter.

Si te equivocabas, regresabas al inicio.

No había asistente ni mensajes “amigables”.

Prender una PC implicaba entender qué estaba pasando.

Por eso usar una computadora todavía no era para todos.

Aún no era una producto de consumo como lo es ahora.
