We finished the day using Padlet to tell everyone our favourite fact and part of our trip. Then, we read a book called ‘We Are The Beatles’ written by Zoe Tucker. #sjpscomputing

Today, we became digital detectives and took part in an online live session where we explored the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence and learning how to stay safe online. 👾💻🖥 #sjpscomputing

Here we are practising our shading and drawing skills ✏️✍️ To begin the lesson, we drew an object from memory with our eyes closed! As you can see from our video, we were surprised by the results🤣

This week, @3D_stjohns and @3H_stjohns received an email asking for some suggestions to update the equipment in the playground! We unpicked the email to learn about subjects and email addresses before drafting our replies! We had some very cool suggestions! @StJohnsKirkdale 🎢

We have started preparing for our very own poetry performance. We will be performing ‘Gran, Can You Rap?’ by Jack Ousby 🎭🎤

We started our Drawing topic today in Art ✍️🎨 We began by exploring our chosen artist Picasso. We noticed his work is filled with bright colours and a variety of shapes. We have replicated this within our work😁

Santa Dash 🧑‍🎄🎅
Here we are raising money for CAFOD. Prior to going outside, we took part in an activity where we discussed the importance of our Santa Dash, why we were taking part and the fantastic fundraising work that CAFOD do annually.

This week, we have started looking at Performance Poetry. This is our immersion lesson, where we looked at a range of poems and explored acting them out. We discussed the importance of pace, rhythm, volume and tone as well as other important features. We had so much fun🎭🎬
