@1M_stjohns @1B_stjohns read Hanni’s Magic Window. We compared the window to our digital devices and how we can use them to see all kinds of interesting things! We also looked at the importance of speaking to trusted adults if something doesn’t feel right when using the internet.
@3D_stjohns@3H_stjohns continued their work on emails and looked at attachments. We attached some photos for our playground equipment suggestions before looking at the dangers of unfamiliar attachments.
This week, @2c_stjohns and @2e_stjohns used Scratch JR to re-tell the story of the Chinese Zodiac race! We used speed blocks to change how fast different sprites can move.
Today, @5G_stjohns and @5J_stjohns continued their scratch animations! We looked at using the sprite coordinates to carefully code where a basketball would bounce to. Excellent effort today!
This week, @6B_stjohns and @6McS_stjohns continued their space invaders games! We used conditional statements to control when and how sprites moved. We also added annotations to our code to explain our decisions.
This week, @1M_stjohns and @1B_stjohns developed their skills using Microsoft word! We looked at how to add capital letters before formatting our text to include different fonts and colours! We finished with some groovy typing practice! 💻
