A great afternoon with @ImaginingHist creating freeze frames of different Greek myths and learning all about different Greek Gods. We can’t wait to start our Ancient Greeks topic now!🧝🏼‍♀️🧌🧟‍♂️

Today we completed some practise of our one-point perspective drawing skills. We learnt about how important it is to draw each item in line with our chosen point, along with decreasing item size as they get further away. 🎨🧑🏼‍🎨✍🏻

Thanks so much to @liamstarkey84 for our wonderful #childrensmentalhealthweek sessions this morning! We explored techniques to help us if we are to feel worried, thought about our hopes and dreams and made relaxing lavender bath salts! ⭐️☺️👍🏼

As part of ‘Internet Safety Day’ we became detectives and took part in an online lesson exploring artificial intelligence and how we can stay safe online! 👾💻📱💭

A lovely end to the week with our Christmas Carol service and Christmas party! We even got to meet Santa himself!🎅🏻

A wonderful day with @SSF_UK performing Romeo and Juliet! We learnt that anything and everything can have a personality, if the actor allows it to. It was such a fun day using play scripts to create freeze frames and act different scenes to tell the story!🎭

Today, we explored the cultural heritage within our class. We used drama to present some successful black British people to the rest of the class, discussing the importance of their actions and how life might have been for these people.

We even created a human timeline using freeze frames to show black history in Britain since the 4th century.

We learnt all about first aid last week and what to do in an emergency. We even practiced CPR on a teddy! 🚑🩹

Last week, we enjoyed looking at ‘Luncheon of the boating party’ by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. We explored what the ideal friend looks like and even made our own version of the painting, showing a time when we have celebrated with friends.
