2E had the best time on their trip! Exploring the Museum of Liverpool and having a ride on the Ferry across the Mersey was brilliant, we loved seeing all the landmarks up close! 🚢🏙️

Continuing #BritishScienceWeek with an investigation into the absorbency of materials! 💦 we learned about the importance of a fair test, we made a prediction and recorded our results! 📊👏

World book day 2024! Didn’t we all look fantastic dressed as some of our favourite characters from books 📚 we had so much fun reading wonderful stories, sharing book reviews and taking part in a webinar with an illustrator 🤩

In maths, 2E are looking at fractions! This week we made magic wands that had to be half one colour and half another- we learnt lots about equal parts and how to find a half!

This week, @2c_stjohns and @2e_stjohns used Scratch JR to re-tell the story of the Chinese Zodiac race! We used speed blocks to change how fast different sprites can move.

Superheroes assemble! 💪 We are having the best time on superhero day, we have created our own superhero identities, designed masks and even made Thor inspired biscuits 💫

Year 2 had the best time yesterday raising money for a wonderful cause during their Santa Dash. 🎅They were so generous with their donations and fantastic with their dashing! @2C_stjohns @CAFODSchools

2E showed off their incredible acting skills today when @PastProductions came to do a Fairy Tale workshop with us. We loved getting dressed up and performing a play and if you can believe it- it all came together in a morning! Wow 👏🤩

2E loved their dance workshop this afternoon, learning some amazing Bollywood and samba dance moves 💃 by the look of it, you might see some of us on Strictly Come Dancing in the future! 🌟

We were so excited to meet a medal winning Olympian today, Daniel Purvis came to pay us a visit 👏 we took part in a wonderful fitness circuit session with him and he was definitely impressed with our full minute of push ups 💪
