There is a massive story developing involving the #CFL. We have been told to give it until Friday when the #NHL draft starts. If the so called media professionals do not break it then, we will. They may be busy...
@hustlerama Dinwiddie chose Maier over Brown due to pocket control. I have spoken with many people around the organization and it was 100% schematic. Brown style did not fit the coaching in particular the head coach who is really the OC.
@BertHuttVan@BCLionsDen World Cup is a international competition. No offense to these countries. But you are playing against Ghana? hmmm. Doesn't really tickle my sports interest.
@BCLionsDen Soccer fans especially in North America are extremely insecure. They want their sport to thrive. It will never thrive. #MLS teams are valued at $700m to $1.5b but never profit. If that is ever a broken business model go figure. Once #worldcup is complete. Everyone will move on.
@BCLionsDen I'll not get into battle of what sport is better. #CFL plays #Football and well FIFA is #soccer in which a sport that is naturally played in countries that do not have many sports that is played amongst developing world nations. You are in #Canada where #CFL is #2 after hockey
@Middy115@ScottBilleck Winnipeg is a better place for him than any of those. Chances of Carolina winning again are low. Florida has no goalie. Vegas will miss the playoffs next year. Winnipeg is an extremely good team w/ Hellebuyck. He knows it. that's why he was upset with the team last season.
@JaySwing Well today was the last time it will happen. #Canada lost and will not play again in Canada. The party is over. I do not agree with FIFA forcing Canada to play outside their country in the knockout stage. They are treating #Canada very poorly. #fifa#worldcup
@JaySwing I wish it was but it never will be. #NHL and #CFL are just too popular and not enough kids play soccer to want to compete. Then you have Baseball and Basketball and other olympic sports. #soccer has no chance. It's a niche sport and demographically Canadians will never fund it.
@JaySwing#WorldCup in Vancouver only has the fans attending the game in the streets. There are 0 televisions outside the stadium and 0 fans watching. Largest watch party in city is being estimated at 16k for Canada games on Granville Street.
@JaySwing#Canada#Olympics Vancouver Police and the IOC committee both released statements that over 300k (205k in Vancouver) (60k in Whistler) and (over 50k at Olympic watch parties throughout the province)
@JaySwing Vancouver Hockey Stanley Cup finals had average 148k per Vancouver Police - Peak game 5-6-7 estimated crowds reached 186k - #vancouver#NHL#Canucks
