1. 3D printing was primarily used for prototyping, but is now being used for production-ready pieces.
2. 3D printers print a model in layers

4. Make it custom for you or replica of an existing piece.

This is a 3D model replica of an end-use part we made for @EPCOR (original part is grey, while the replica is white). We 3D printed them using a strong plastic, and these parts were to be installed in some valves that needed to be fixed! #3dprintwestern #additivemanufacturing

If you are from the Edmonton Area, you may have seen an exceptional Corten Steel & Bronze 14' Sculpture Commissioned by the Alberta Teacher's Association at the Alberta Legislative Grounds.
