News: Jeremy McMillan is returning to Texas A&M to be the head strength & conditioning coach for Mike Earley and Aggie baseball.

McMillan had been at A&M for 12 years prior to spending last season at LSU. The San Antonio native is headed back to the Lone Star State.

It’s a business, and I get it if Schloss wanted to make a move. But you know he could have had Texas delay the Pierce firing until after the national championship game if he had wanted to.

Leaving is one thing. Being complicit in creating a distraction for your team as they’re trying to win a title is quite another.

This should not take away from what this 2024 Texas A&M baseball team has done. The players make the team, not the coaches. Less than 24 hours ago we were one of the last two teams standing, playing for a National Championship.

Nothing can take that away from us.
