Patch 26.7 Full Preview!
Shyvana
- We're still working on a larger set of changes for Shyvana, but they haven't been finalized yet (I mentioned the direction of some of the changes yesterday)
- For this patch, just a change to make Ultimate Haste interactions and also the Sylas interaction nerf from previously
Cassiopeia
- Buffs to 2 areas that Cassiopeia thrives in; her initial mana pool for early all-ins when she tags with Q
- Her maxed E, to reinforce her sustained DPS identity
Kalista
- Kalista has fallen off significantly in priority in Pro Play, which means we can buff her for regular play!
- We're focusing the power in the core area where people play her; her E damage
Rell
- Similarly, Rell has fallen off pretty significantly as well
- Her initial Ult damage will increase her threat in early all-ins, while her E will allow her to fulfil more of her mobile horse identity
Veigar
- Veigar is in a slightly strong spot for regular play midlane, but is really rocking the bot lane a bit too hard, especially in regular play
- The nerfs are targeted at R which sits at Rank 1 in bot lane for quite a lot longer than in solo lanes
Singed
- Singed is looking a bit too strong in especially normal play
- While this nerf looks like a bit of a meme, we expect it matters more than expected on paper just due to the number of stats impacted when ult is active
Ornn
- Ornn is just a little bit strong, especially given that he has a relatively steep mastery curve
@RiotPhroxzon it seems 90% of high elo players who care most about your game and streamer whomake content for millions of players seem to absolutely hate what you've done to soloq this season, me included. Please rethink what you guys are doing and don't try to logic your way into being
@quantelol "I'd rather be bronze than that much of a loser" - my gf on Alex Ho's champ select paragraph he types every lobby. And on top of that he's a ghoster and target banner what a guy π
Reached my goal of 1300LP top 25!(it says rank 52 but it just hasn't updated yet) I've finally been able to perform decently while streaming all my games π
Next up is my 127ms Euw Challenger climb after I move my sleep schedule for it
1K LP Annie!π§Έ
My gf plays Annie so I recently challenged myself to do an Annie climb so I could properly coach her π
Also I had a Renekton Plush custom skin made for the climb! Renekton Plush Annie and more info on the climb below β¬

@christangrrr Oh i missed the protobelt part. Your damage and solo carry potential suffers a bit but it's actually so op, especially against edge of night
@christangrrr only started trying out resolve in some recent games vs fizz and some hard mage matchups after watching some chovy vods(a couple games i wasnt against who i thought though)
If you scroll down my opgg there are 0 resolve games before yesterday
I played 84 Annie games total, all in GM-Challenger range. I played 49 games on my main before a loss streak where I swapped accounts for a mental refresh.
Those Renekton games in the screen shot were mostly before the Annie games. I actually played 13 Annie top on that account.
Patch 25.14 Preview!
MSI has put out really good games so far with Ka-lose-ta and When-TF-am-I-gonna-get-a-win looking pretty bad though. Meta is looking pretty good overall, main gaps have been some more AP junglers and a few more assassins, though a lot of the HP mid lane has made this a bit difficult and we didn't want to have too many more Corki, Trist mid, etc.Β
We've been a bit buff heavy in recent patches, so pulling it back a bit here with more nerfs.Β
Systems
- We initially made mask stacking (haunting guise + haunting guiseΒ possible as a fun joke build (or rather, passed on fixing it), but with Bloodletters becoming a real item, it's ended up being a lot more powerful than intended
- It's resulting in a lot of champions being able to index into a lot more HP than is normalΒ
- We're removing the interaction as a result in line with other epics, even though it's fun :cry
- We're also looking at some buffs to underperforming sustained damage items like BORK, Kraken, PDΒ
- We're pre-emptively nerfing Yasuo as he's a bit stronger than Yone for regular players and we're buffing BORK
- We've nerfed ROA a decent amount for non-core users at the cost of its previous core users. We're splitting the difference back, but in a way that benefits its old core users (typically mana oriented battle mages
- We're being careful with a Guardian adjustment that makes it slightly better for enchanters, but no better for tanks
Support and Jungle
- We've heard a lot of feedback about the strength of both the jungle and support roles, in particular the gap between melee and ranged supports have grown a lot (with a few exceptions like Neeko support)
- We didn't want to change the meta a lot during MSI, but now, over the coming patches, we want to gradually take power out of the melee supports and some of the junglers (we don't want to add extra power to the weaker champions in the role and make the roles any stronger)
- This isn't all the changes that we want to make for the roles, but just a general strategy that we'll employ over the course of a few patches
- We're also nerfing Yuumi as she's pushing frustration, especially in China (she's the most banned supp in Emerald+) and she doesn't need to be that powerful to achieve her goals (an onramp for new players)
Kled
- Now that MSI is done, shipping our Kled changes that have been in the works for a while (check out Endstep's video for more detail)
- The main goals for the changes are to have him feel better about fighter builds and also hit down some of the earflicks like instantly getting health back from remounting that just feel bad for minimal opponent satisfaction or counterplay
- Throughout the course of dev, we investigated increasing remounting frequency, in an effort to give him more effective health, but ended up moving away from it
