@AsoRock @SONNigeria is it not possible that Nigeria can have a central emergency number???
that can easily be known by everyone including children. A number as easy as 911.. you make things difficult and unachievable when you drop 11digit numbers and expect someone to call it for any emergency.
@Molayoo_ I live in the UK and not every English person is intelligent.
Can we not find others ways to measure intelligence apart from knowing how to speak English.
The UK’s planning system is seriously restrictive, which is why it’s so hard for regular individuals to just build their own houses.
Before any building project, you have to go through the planning stage and get full approval from the local authority (usually the council). That planning process is no joke it’s heavy, very organised, and involves a whole planning committee.
For example, before you can build in an area, many bodies have to be consulted: NHS, Police, Education, water authority, archaeology, and more. The NHS will come and say how the new houses will affect their capacity, the police will talk about safety impact, and so on.
It’s long, tedious, and eats up serious time, resources, and money. And that’s just the planning stage. there are plenty more hurdles after that. Engineering approvals and many.
This is exactly why only big developers with deep pockets like Miller Homes, Keepmoat, Gleeson, etc., can comfortably go through all this. Normal people don’t stand a chance.
Pass in a Manual Car and You receive a full Category B licence. This legally entitles you to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
Pass in an Automatic Car and you receive a Category B Auto licence. This restricts you to driving only automatic vehicles.
Anyone with an automatic license driving a manual car is doing so illegally.
I opted out of pension when I was not properly informed.
When you pay pension, your employer also contributes to your pension. Say you pay £150 for pension, depending on your employer, they can contribute up to double of that. And total pension contribution will be about £400.
Opt out and you loose that additional employer contribution.
It’s just a shame that we Africans continue to measure intelligence with foreign languages.
Imagine telling your brother you’re better than him because you speak another man language better.
There’s no originality with us Africans. It’s too sad because we won’t recover from this.
