Having functional depression really mindfucks people when they realize that you are really diagnosed with depression.
I'm sorry that I don't exhibit the 'real' symptoms of having depression and anxiety. My brain wasn't wired that way.

I can't help but feel a little jealous when I see my friends excelling in their own fields. I am extremely happy for them, but a part of me wishes I can replicate it.
I know I still have a loooot more to go. Until it's my turn, I will cheer very hard for them.
I know it's hard, but remember you aren't alone. I hope you finally have the courage to love yourself the way you deserve. Until then, we'll hold your space for you.
