This made me laugh, because as an Arab I've seen so many "self-made" stories, until you then realize that the guy's father was a multi-millionaire already ๐คฃ
But in all seriousness, the thing about skills is that the real payoff is delayed.
The earlier you invest in a skill, the more unexpected ways it pays you back later.
I never planned to be a "public figure." Content creation was just the convenient skill for me to learn at the time, so I did it and kept investing in it, even though to this day I don't really see myself as one (hence the mask). That investment is still paying off.
Same with learning English. It was convenient for me to invest in early on, so I did, slowly. And today, without it, I couldn't keep up with AI, listen to founder stories on podcasts, write precise prompts, or make that #Shipaton video.
So yeah, step 1 was a 4M channel, but step 0 was a bunch of skills I picked up years ago without knowing what they'd be for.

The last few days were tough: stressed, sleep-deprived, and all over the place emotionally.
