@mauthe_doog They are though, the dev asked them to fix the issues when it was brought to their attention in the demo. And it was ignored. After the backlash on release, im assuming the publisher stepped in and now the dev has more power over the localizers.

@justMizuyuki Okay? No. My complaints with the translation were literally removing the direct references to Otaku culture. There are tons of examples in the fixed patch notes already. Jojos references, fate, steins gate, madoka magica? All fixed. And the madoka one wasn't even translated

@JennPottBirdUp @Theone321321 @Muu_Muyu The shit I had main issue with was translating over the references to otaku culture, as a game that embedded itself in otaku culture.
The Madoka Magica, Fate/Stay Night, Jojo's, Steins;Gate references were all completely changed.
Yet they were preserved in the other languages.
