So excited to have this new addition to our library! A TTC book about the history of our city's transit system. A student asked if we could purchase a book about the TTC, and we found this gem! We just celebrated 100 years as well! #studentvoice @TTCNewsroom

💳 Here's one of our first library cards from 1884. These “readers tickets” had cloth exteriors and folded to protect the delicate paper.

So very proud of these @TDSBLibrary bibliotechie @BeattyPS Library helpers.

[Mrs. Tirkos @3nine8point2]

@beattyps Bibliotechies worked on a project for the enhancement of the library physical space this year. Students selected the Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis to post on the wall. The excerpt they selected was almost towards the end of the book...

[Mrs. Tirkos @3nine8point2]

...they projected the excerpt and traced it, and then outlined and filled in every letter with black marker.

Recording Ancient Civilization Podcasts with Mme Lenahan's class today. A long partnership is reaching its conclusion. It has truly been rewarding! @BeattyPS @TDSBLibrary
