The longer this goes on, the more I fear Helton will do something stupid.

[Josh Aubrey @thejoshaubrey]

No one is blaming GA Southern or should be the whole Bowl process is flawed and now that there is a playoff more and more teams will opt out and I seriously doubt after handing out a bid and a team accepting they are going to tell that team uh sorry. If it ends up UAB goes at 4-8 it’s a total joke imo

[Not Clay Helton @NotHCHelton]

Fire @chrisdavis_CD fire @GSCoachHelton

[Clements Crazies @ClementsCrazies]

Just FYI to those who think it’s ok to root for Georgia Southern & UGA or someone else even Erk didn’t appreciate at! #HailSouthernAndNoPlaceElse

[Sandra Hart @hart4262]

Can you please take @GSCoachHelton back? Or at least please find him another job. @GSAthletics_FB and our boys in blue deserve better. Please!

[Lee Fulcher @lfulcher67]

@GSAthletics_FB Acceptable record? This is pure horse sh*t and not GS football. Since when do we accept mediocre results? Yeah since we have a usd car salesman @chrisdavis_CD as the AD. Someone needs to grow a set and do something about this

[Brian @3option]

Dr. Kyle Marrero has allowed @PresKeel ‘s front porch to fall into disrepair via J Benko, Chris Davis, & @GSCoachHelton. It is unrecognizable to a generation of students. Shameful! @NotHCHelton @KlakGS @SWAT_GSU @mark_1238 @GSEagleMan @GS_NickB @MrAllPurposeKev @scottwatkinsTU

[Jason Cassels @KlakGS]

Helton has a single 3-game winning streak at GS. None longer than that.

He’s hired 2 OCs and 2 DCs with average-to-bad results.

What evidence do we have that 2026 will be a championship contender?

Or are we just waving the white flag and saying this is the best we can do?

[Jason Cassels @KlakGS]

Man, everyone go listen to this. They hit every point and break down exactly where we are.

It’s time to fire Helton and move on. There’s just nothing else to do.

[Jason Cassels @KlakGS]

GS Athletic Foundation liquidity sits at $8 mil, up from $3 mil in 2019. That's money we can use for anything we want.

Clay's buyout is paid out monthly over the next 4 years (growing from 712k in 2026 to 825k in 2029).

We can 100% afford this. Don't let them say we can't.

[Jason Cassels @KlakGS]

The defense ranks #127 out of 136 teams.
The offense ranks #90 out of 136 teams.

There are only 2 logical choices at the end of the season.

Keep in mind for choice #2, Helton gets to hire the new coordinators.

[Justin Baker @BakerBroadcast]

“I’m a bum who hired an inexperienced staff and have no idea how to bring pride and tradition back to this storied program.” - Clay Helton’s speech translated for you. Or did you get a different interpretation @NotHCHelton ?

[Sandra Hart @hart4262]

We need to clean house with this coaching staff and the AD. Since Benko deserted his sinking ship it’s all on @chrisdavis_CD now. @GSCoachHelton had the time to make changes. We have been mediocre since he arrived. The talk among the big donors is we’re fed up with mediocre!

[Not Clay Helton @NotHCHelton]

Blow up that email

[Nick @GS_NickB]

When it’s time for Georgia Southern to hire a new AD, our administration knows right where to look.

Here is Daddy Davis @chrisdavis_CD

[Tinhorn Productions @GATATinHorn]

I have done a great deal of thinking on if I want to purchase season tix next year for my Georgia Southern.

I’m as True Blue as they come, however I cannot justify purchasing season tickets based upon the performance of the current coaching staff.

Changes HAVE to be made.
