Introducing authentic new US Air Force gear:

The CWU-28/P Summer Flyers Suit and HGU-7/P Helmets were worn by US Air Force crews during the Vietnam war. The helmets are supplied in 3 different liveries - white, camo and black - with visor variants, and the Summer Flyers Suits are supplied with optional CSU-3/P Anti-G Suit variants for jet pilots. These additions represent authentic daily working gear for aircrews operating the C-119, some jets and some helicopters.

Introducing the Model 77E

The Model 77E is an American 12 Gauge Shotgun produced in the 1960s fed by a 4 round tube magazine. Purchased by the US Military, it became the most widely used shotgun during the Vietnam war with over 60,000 M77E shotguns manufactured. The M77E was the first combat shotgun fitted with a rubber recoil pad and had a noticeably shorter stock than other shotguns from the time to accommodate smaller stature individuals such as the South Vietnamese, which the majority of the US order of shotguns went to. This however led to a lot of the stocks breaking at the thinner base from combat usage over time. Jim “Wild Carrot” Shorten used a sawn-off version of the M77E.

After days of airstrikes and months of preparation, 3/5 secured their first objective, an apartment complex northwest of the city outskirts, which gave some of the unit's marines their first taste of combat and a presence of civilians in a combat zone.

On November 8th, 2004, Marines of 3/5, along with other elements of Regimental Combat Team 1 and 7, began their push from their attack positions from the northern part of the city of Fallujah.

57 years ago today on July 22nd, India Company was operating within the mountainous region of Quan Cam Lo District of Quang Tri. The 3rd Platoon was on point that day as they made their way up a creek.

In the ensuing battle, four other Marines lost their lives.
This was the first major skirmish that India Company had experienced since their amphibious landing in June.
