The Cardano Foundation has joined x402 as an Associate Member under the @linuxfoundation

x402 is an open payment standard that revives the HTTP 402 status code so that applications and AI agents can pay per request in stablecoins without accounts, API keys, or a checkout page.

Open standards make that kind of machine-to-machine commerce possible.

Early adoption by Cardano ecosystem projects such as @MasumiNetwork and @ODATANO_V4 shows how quickly open standards can move into real-world applications.

AI on Cardano Update

Last week we had our first ever "AI on Cardano" call for everyone interested in this topic.

The goal of this forum is to

- Establish a platform to talk about AI developments, discuss standards, form working groups and present work

- Establish Cardano as the Nr. 1 Blockchain when it comes to AI development

- Foster more collaboration

@Google has integrated @MidnightNtwrk into its Cloud Web3 portal, featuring direct access to the network, protocol validators, and a hosted testnet faucet.

The move deepens Google's collaboration with the Cardano-linked privacy blockchain as it continues building programmable privacy and predictable-cost infrastructure.

UPDATE: Charles Hoskinson says "I can already see the future. With Midnight, we got lattice-based crypto, and (Ethereum's) doing hash-based crypto. They'll discover 3 years from now, "we need to move to lattices." They'll use our ideas, libraries, but say nothing about Cardano."

❗@Cardano is building one of the strongest foundations in the industry.

Development activity remains one of the strongest in crypto, with 233 code commits over the last 7 days, putting Cardano 5th among all Layer 1 blockchains. But that's only part of the bigger picture.

We're seeing growth almost everywhere, from developer activity and ecosystem expansion to improving on-chain metrics and a steadily recovering market capitalization. The pieces are starting to come together at the same time.

And judging by the pace of development, there's every reason to believe this momentum is only getting stronger. If that continues and all signs suggest it will, a return to the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization feels less like a bold prediction and more like a natural next step.

Cardano will win.
