@danielrucci@GrassmanWilliam The main bias is water (we’re in draught /shortage with watering restrictions) , land use (big agriculture base with farmland) and noise.
Most of these concerns can be addressed but people have made up their mind. Facebook is littered with misinformation feeding it
Pennsylvania is on the rise – and we're winning major deals again.
Join me and DCED Secretary Rick Siger as we announce a major expansion of @PoweredbyEos and more than 700 new jobs in Western Pennsylvania. Watch: https://t.co/8b2herzF4B
@bert_gilfoyle Thoughts on how the USW Union might make this a headache? Pretty far drive for employees to relocate. WARN act says 60 day notice prior to plant closure.
$EOSE
Spent the past few years saying “Golden Standard.”
Eos is the first publicly announced energy storage company supporting the Golden Dome initiative. That matters for far more than the initial contract value/prototype.
The contract itself isn’t the thesis. The reference customer is… which can become a revolving door.
If Eos executes, Department of Defense validation has the potential to strengthen the company’s position across:
• U.S. military installations and microgrids
• Missile defense and command-and-control infrastructure
• Critical grid resilience and utility partnerships
• Federal agencies with mission-critical power requirements
• Overseas U.S. installations
• Allied defense programs
• Commercial procurement where DoD validation carries weight with hyperscalers, utilities and industrial customers
The domestic opportunity alone can reasonably be viewed in the upper quadrant of hundreds of millions and potentially approaching $1B+ depending on deployment scale.
Beyond that sits a much broader defense energy resilience market across the U.S. and allied nations. It is simply too early to responsibly quantify, but the optionality is meaningful. Very meaningful = premium.
It also raises an eyebrow when you consider who is already around the table. Utilities & Hyperscalers… Infrastructure partners as well as Government provisions. A Department of Defense reference customer can be THE anchor.
Being a partner with Eos now carries a different level of credibility. Pending execution, it shifts weight into Eos leveraging current & future relationships.
Today it’s a headline. Stock price doesn’t care, yet. It’s ok. Valuation is a floating ceiling to date.
But years from now, we may look back & realize it was the first signal that Eos had moved beyond being viewed as “just another battery company.” As competition has creeped into many baskets over the past few years. This is an exponential standout.
Again today, I don’t see another lithium or sodium battery company with a publicly announced role in what was outlined last week.
Unlock the pipeline, Joe. 🔓
