Many institution hire people of color because they are forced to meet a quota. This is helpful, but still can end up being harmful. Today it is still difficult for someone who identifies as black or hispanic to get hired because their name sounds "ghetto".

When we discuss the topic of a wage gap between different groups we tend to foget that Asian Americans just like African Americans and Hispanics get the short end of the stick.

Women and men are both capable of competing against each other. Yes, there are some challenges but if a cis man and cis woman can't compete against each other forcing a transman to complete against women or a transwoman to compete against men is not acceptable.

The War is a Racket speech is a symbol of our reality. Nothing that was said in the speech is new to me our anyone (I don't believe). War is profitable and has always been profitable for the United States of America. World War II brought America to her present glory.

By promoting colorblindness, you're erasing the struggles that people endure in racialized landscapes but also in other aspects of their identity (ex. sexuality, gender, class, etc) #NQSOC221
