@KatjaDox Just because someone is with Christ doesn’t mean they have the capacity to be like God and receive prayers from everyone simultaneously, nor does that mean you should be trying to talk to them.
Also from what I understand all Maccabees mentions about this is praying FOR the DEAD.

@Jeffyfatguyseat @JohnKoffs @Lonestarorthox @sanderson1611 You should watch the stupid documentary Paul Wittenberger put out a few months ago, and notice that they make a big deal introducing them by setting all 4 up for a polygraph test. Then only ONE question is answered by ONE of the kids. That should be an obvious red flag.

I know plenty of my peers who are like that. This is notoriously common for pastor kids.

The influence you are talking about would probably apply to people who the public actually likes, not people who piss off the public. Even the “conservative Christians” would disagree with him. @TheGourdKing @Lonestarorthox @sanderson1611 It is easily conceivable that his children have been influenced by others convincing them his ideas are extreme. And yeah, since he did physically discipline them of course they would be encouraged to tout it and exaggerate it as “abuse”.

Nothing has come of it. All you have are people claiming things happened, past tense. That doesn’t mean anything to the law.
