So, this is day three of me writing a blog post. I dunno if it's a genuine trend or not. It's not Elixir specific but you all are my peeps. So, I throw written-word-noise at you.

I sometimes forget that not everyone has worked in a kitchen, so just as a general disclaimer, if I say “heard” it means I respect you, I understand what you said, & I intend to use what you’re teaching me going forward ✨
When people speak about taking themselves out on a date like it’s something new and trendy, but you’re Autistic and have been doing it for decades (and before it was cool).
Home Depot opened up their latest cohort of Software Engineering Apprentices - Remote/US only.
Please share with your network - ideal opportunity for folks looking for their first technology role.
(Not my role/company - please don’t DM me about it!)

Finally wrote my second blog post... A year later. It's not super technical more just how I think about writing code. I... I don't post or read here anymore because... Well, if you're still here... You know why, right?
Anyway, 2nd post.

Instead of giving unsolicited advice, let’s make a habit out of asking “would you prefer to be heard, helped, or held?” when someone is choosing to be vulnerable with us
I see female friends not applying to jobs because they don't fit 2 requirements.
I see male friends applying to jobs while they fit none of the requirements.
Women, don't be scared of a no. Apply for those jobs 💪🙌🔥
Wrote some really clever code today that uses a couple fancy recursions & multiple abstractions so I'm not copy-pasting the same several lines of code to multiple places.
So clever that if I got paged at 2am it would make zero sense to me.
Shook myself out if it and deleted it all. if else if else if else for the win.
Autistic people are often criticised for reading too much into things and catastrophising. People don't want to listen despite our predictions being pretty accurate thanks to our pattern recognition abilities. I think the real issue is we often highlight what others want hidden.
