A strong message to our Generals, the Defence Ministry, Governors, Ministers, lawmakers, and everyone entrusted with the responsibility of governing this country:
I swear by Almighty Allah, if you have the means to stop banditry and kidnapping but choose to sit back simply because it has not affected you, your family, or your community, remember that one day the tables may turn. It could be you, a member of your family, or someone close to you who becomes a victim.
God is watching everything. The situation appears to be getting worse with each passing day, while innocent citizens continue to live in fear.
Enough is enough. The time to act is now.
Suddenly we are all talking about Saleem Goje, but we remain silence about Chibok girls in Borno, then the Dapchi girls in Yobe, the Kankara schoolboys in Katsina, the Jangebe schoolgirls in Zamfara, the Kuriga students in Kaduna, the Papiri students in Niger, Oriire children and teachers in Oyo ,Each tragedy piles upon the other, yet we remain disturbingly comfortable with the government's failure to protect lives and property, even if there ain't your children or relatives there are citizens and fellow Nigerians don’t they matter to you all?
The news of General Rabe’s death weighs heavily upon the conscience of a nation. A soldier who stood between danger and the innocent, he devoted his life to service, sacrifice, and duty. Such a man deserved honor in life and peace in old age—not captivity at the hands of those who wage war against humanity and the state.
To his family, words may never be enough. Yet take solace in knowing that he did not fall as a victim; he remains a hero. Even in the den of bandits, his courage could not be chained, nor could his dignity be taken from him. His name shall endure where fear could not prevail.
Every effort, military and intelligence alike, was deployed in pursuit of his rescue. But hostage situations are among the most painful and difficult challenges, where every decision carries the weight of a precious life. Though the outcome has broken our hearts, it must never diminish the resolve with which those efforts were made.
Today, we mourn not only a soldier but a symbol of duty. We mourn a man who gave more to his country than his country could ultimately return. In his final trial, he stood with the courage that defined his life.
May Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and comfort his loved ones. The nation grieves, history remembers, and honor bears witness that General Rabe died a hero.
Ba wanda ba ɗan iska ba, sai wanda ba a kama ba.
I think both of them are financially stable and doing well, so why the unnecessary wahala and sinning? 🤦🏾♂️💔
