@ika_xbt@ponsdotfamily Yo @ika_xbt
I’m an onchain dev and we could turn this into a full fledged tech onchain. hmu if you’d like to work on this project
Communities don't guarantee a token's success.
One thing I've started noticing from trenching mostly on Solana is that communities barely matter 60% of the time.
What actually matters is what's happening on-chain, not what people are posting on CT.
Let me explain.
A while back, I bought a token on Robinhood.
We had one of if not the most active communities on Pons at the time. People were constantly posting, making memes, shilling the project, and keeping the timeline alive.
And what did we get?
About an $800K market cap, which was basically the initial pump from launch.
Now compare that to Cate.
Before it started trending on CT, it had already reached around $5M market cap. Then it dipped, people lost interest, and almost nobody was talking about it anymore.
A while later...
It exploded to over $50M market cap.
So what was the difference between the two?
One had the louder community.
The other had the liquidity.
Here's another example.
I use @mobyagent, and through @whalewatchalert I receive whale accumulation alerts.
One day I got an alert for a token that was seeing heavy accumulation.
I immediately checked CT.
Hardly anyone was talking about it.
So I faded it.
A few days later...
It had done 30x+.
What happened?
The accumulation was happening on-chain while CT was still asleep.
That was the moment it clicked for me.
There's a saying in investing:
If the information is already public, you're probably no longer early.
The same applies to memecoins.
By the time CT is loudly bullish, early buyers are often already sitting on huge profits.
The real edge isn't reading tweets.
It's understanding what's happening on-chain before everyone else does.
In my next post, I'll share some of the on-chain metrics and analyses I use to spot opportunities as early as possible.
Let’s win!
It all started with @Noxa_Fi, a launchpad that went live before the official robinhood mainnet release. Its coin, CASHCAT, exploded as soon as vlad followed it.
Soon after, @virtuals_io, an AI launchpad, entered the scene with VEX as its flagship token.
Rising from the ashes of noxa came @ponsdotfamily, a launchpad built around strong community alignment and aggressive buybacks.
The momentum then shifted to @longdotxyz, which popularized stock pairings through AI/NVDA rise.
In response, @bankrbot, another launchpad that had been live since the beginning, released GME/GME and returned to the spotlight.
The memecoin race intensified when the Bonk launchpad, @circus_trade, attempted to capitalize on the hype with RH69, a low-effort bundled memecoin.
Then another player entered the conversation: @launchonvaro, the launchpad from robinhood partner rialto, with PILATES as its flagship token.
In the meantime, @ClutchMarkets, the launchpad behind stonkbroker, led by a former ApeChain team member, launched a new project, DERP.
Finally, FRONG, a coin launched by a @Uniswap product designer, surged on speculation around their upcoming launchpad, https://t.co/Dut4n8jj9w.
Their longtime competitor, @SushiSwap, wasn't about to let them gain market share without a fight. They responded by pushing cat-themed coins like LONGCAT and MEOWSHI through their own launchpad.
Any questions?
People are seriously sleeping on trading in crypto.
It isn't talked about enough.
- Yes, you'll probably lose money at first.
- Yes, it takes months or even years to become consistently profitable.
- Yes, you'll need capital and a lot of patience.
But...
- You can make life-changing money.
- You can build a skill that pays you for decades.
- You can even turn it into a full-time career.
Whether it's futures or spot trading (including memecoins), pick one path and commit to mastering it.
There is so much money to be made in this space, don’t get left behind!
