@Hikka_R0s3 of course! i thought it would be interesting to contribute. your idea that thorns can symbolize driving people away goes hand in hand with arachnid honing wemmbu as a weapon and it’s devastating both in and out of pvp meta.

i rarely uupost on this account but i do want to add that thorns on 1 armorpiece + wb2 on mace is an actual recent meta pvp development, not just arachnid nerfing wemmbu. wb2 is good for chaining more consistent elymaces (i run it myself on smps) but if you want to perceive+

Can I just say something funny. So you know how Arachnid gave Wemmbu that thorns book right? That could also be a form a self isolation before thorns hurt others when they hit you, but funny thing it also damages your armour.

tl;dr i don’t think arachnid was tormenting by adding thorns and wb2 to his items, which i’ve noticed as the consensus amongst uutwt. the likelier option is much worse: he was honing him into an even more efficient weapon before he sent him out to war.
