Starting November 16, 2025, Fannie Mae will eliminate the 620 minimum credit score requirement, making homeownership more accessible for buyers with limited credit history, non-traditional credit sources, or those rebuilding their credit.

Today, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) voted to bring down the benchmark interest rate by another 0.25%. This is the second consecutive month of quarter-point drops, bringing the benchmark rate down to a range of 3.75% to 4%. Stay tuned for more information!
The base FICO® Scores range from 300 to 850. The higher the score, the lower the risk to lenders. A "good" credit score is considered to be in the 670-739 score range. A credit score between 740-799 is considered "very good" and a score over 800 is considered "exceptional"
President Trump signed the Homebuyers Privacy Protection Act (H.R. 2808), establishing a nationwide ban on trigger leads. Effective March 5, 2026, it will be illegal for credit bureaus to sell an applicant’s information to other lenders without their permission.
