@_TheMizzouTiger Yes. My in laws farm in southeast Nebraska, a little in Missouri. We’ve had to do some tillage to manage residue but terraces and tile are a necessity in that area. They’re not the funnest to farm but they serve a purpose.

@agronomistryan1 That’s a good way to explain it. I’ve seen a lot of issues behind dual stage closing systems this year, but I think a lot of it comes down to planting into too wet of soils.

I got a call this morning about a grower who accidentally planted a field of soybeans at 320k. I’ve got some ideas, but I’m curious what others would recommend in this situation?

@wapp56 30” rows. Not sure what the field looks like, but I had a similar idea. I thought running a cultivator across the rows after emergence would be interesting. Create little soybeans “bushes” that capture sunlight all the way around.

@bandedagllc Is it possible to have some herbicide carryover from last year that was in the residue? First strip and freshener row cleaners cleared residue, and VT incorporated it into the seed zone?
