@MarcLobliner My take is parents should educate their children more on what the future burden of their student loan debt would like. Many parents push “going to college” without truly weighing the pros and cons out with their children
Been looking into the “Lost Decade” recently which occurred during 2000-2010. While margins are higher these days, the exponential growth in the S&P over the past 15 years is undeniable. With Tech valuations being sky high. Is another Lost Decade out of the question? 
I'm 36. This is my honest advice for people in their 20s:
1. Make decisions your future self will thank you for, not resent you for.
2. Somebody you know and love is going to die within the next 10 years. It could even be you. So live accordingly.
