The WFP warehouse in Mogadishu, which was broken into (looted/demolished) last night, has been ordered by the Somali Presidency to be handed over to the Turkish forces in Mogadishu, according to sources close to the President's office
The Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs is expected to arrive in Mogadishu next week. This will be the first time a high-level Chinese minister visits Mogadishu since 1980.
The visit comes at a time when tensions between Somalia and Somaliland have reached their highest level.
