Free agent guard Gary Trent Jr. has agreed to a four-year, $64 million deal to stay with the Milwaukee Bucks, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul and agent Lucas Newton tells ESPN.
Sergio already shows he can operate at a high level as a secondary ball handler and decision maker. When he tights his dribble under pressure and gets used to the physicality levels he will be also a great primary operator with the ball

El principio de todo para @Laaarry_14.
Peterson is so smooth. He was dinged from many before draft for his play making production but seems that this will not be an issue (as expected - his role at Kentucky had a lot to do with it; his HS playmaking was very strong)
Masai Ujiri has interest in reuniting with Kawhi Leonard.
Mavs and Clippers have discussed deal that would send Leonard to Dallas for package including P.J. Washington, Klay Thompson, and draft picks.
(per @christianpclark, @DanWoikeSports, @sam_amick)
It's crazy how people do not grasp this simple concept. Also West's analytics rant ignores...Dirk Nowitzki. The Mavs pioneered basketball analytics in early 00s and still handed Dirk the keys to dominate from the midrange. These rants think analytics is a rigid formula...
Analytics getting attacked today. This is the stuff I was saying since 5-7 years ago. The game got distorted when they let the calculators in the door.
There is absolutely no *true* analytics person that wouldโve said that ab @FCHWPO. @BobbyMarks42 wanted to steer sth & blamed analytics. As simple as that. If he actually had real analytics buddies he would have been saved from trading for 37 years old KG and 35 Pierce ๐
If Hornets thought this was the time to sell high on Ball bc he finally played a whole season, sth they see as an anomaly rather than the norm, then they did well. If though they think their resurgence was bc of Kon (&not LaMelo/Miller's health)then this is why bad teams stay bad
And here is the video. E.g., something that could have gone differently is Davis waiting to be fouled or in general protecting the ball better https://t.co/yhctIkt9RZ
Arguably these are 20sec that had they gone some other way May's future wouldn't include a national title & the Mavs job. It's always fascinating how randomness plays into paths (when they shouldn't) The outcome of a single instance doesn't dictate if someone is good or not #MFFL
There have only been 2 "clearish" successes in transitioning directly from college to the NBA as a coach. Donovan and Stevens. Larry and Hubie Brown coached in the NBA/ABA before going to coach in college. So overall, there is a low success rate but we'll see #MFFL
Michigan had a 10.1% midrange rate last season, which would rank 22nd in the #NBA last season (Mavs ranked 4th...). If anything, #MFFL fans should be excited for the improved shot quality that is coming next season
Not sure what this even means because every advanced metric loves Brunson -- and this was the case during his Mavs time. If the meaning is "midrange shots", analytics is much more than this...
Hate to say it, but Analytics FC had a horrible postseason culminating with a Brunson ring
I said Brunson was a positive impact player and spreadsheet people disagreed lmao
I love analytics but it goes too far sometimes lol
Iโll have to dig deeper in some numbers but I think this is a deal that if I am the Mavs I am thinking very seriously. Fox contract is horrible, but you are taking Bryant as the sweetener. I am pretty high on him even pre-draft and he had a solid rookie season. Kyrie [1/4]

Someone on the @MavsFilmRoom stream this week asked if we would take this deal:
DAL receives:
- DeโAaron Fox
- Carter Bryant
- 20th overall pick in 2026 NBA Draft
SAS receives:
- Kyrie Irving
- Klay Thompson
Would you take this deal if youโre Dallas?
donโt have assets you have to acquire them somehow. His fast pace also messes well with Coopโs transition game. I am not sure Iโd take it (if the 2030 swap added prob yes) but itโs something to be seriously considered. Maybe Spurs would be interested in PJ and Gaff instead [3/4]
