🚨Absolute CHAOS erupts on Milan’s streets.

First France, now Italy. Cost-of-living protests have descended into fires, looting and violent clashes over the weekend.

An October 17 march organized by Italia in Piazza against rising prices and poor public services turned brutally violent as masked youths hurled stones and fireworks at police.

Officers responded with tear gas and water cannons. Dozens were detained, many reportedly minors.

The unrest follows clashes across Paris and other French cities, where vehicles and buildings were set ablaze and more than 1,200 people were arrested.

Further looting and clashes were reported in Milan on October 18, prompting Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to condemn the violence.
