One of the key components of the relationship between the grower and the hashmaker is dialing in the ideal harvest date. If you are running a sealed indoor it can be more consistent but in greenhouses/outdoor the day of harvest that worked in the previous run can’t be fixated on because of the differences of pressure and light spectrum that you get throughout the year.

We never do “clear tech” because we believe the added pressure applied can equal or exceed the degradation from some batches that may have a lot of air bubbles in it. We noticed based on different characteristics of the flavor that different cultivars will naturally lean in one direction or the other. One major variable we noticed is that the more “soft” or sticky cultivars will naturally be more clear while those that are stable tend to have more bubbles in it.
