Brilliant Campaign: Mumbai Police ‘The Punishing Signal’ by FCB India
In Mumbai, 70% of road noise pollution comes from honking. Fines didn’t fix it. Warnings didn’t fix it.
So Mumbai Police tried something smarter.
If honking at a traffic light crossed 85 decibels, the countdown timer reset. The more you honked, the longer you waited.
“Honk more. Wait more.”
A simple behavioural nudge. Immediate consequences. Zero media spend. Massive impact.
A brilliant example of changing behaviour not by telling people what to do — but by redesigning the system around them. @MumbaiPolice | @fcbgroupindia | @fcbglobal

Stuck for ideas? Try doing the opposite.
In this clip, the brilliant Emily Hinks, founder of Mischief Makers, shares a simple technique called Negative Brainstorming — where instead of asking how to solve the problem, you ask how to make it worse. It sounds counterintuitive. It works surprisingly well. @emilyhinks
If you’ve ever stared at a blank page waiting for inspiration to strike, this one’s for you.

Book of the Day 📘: Super Thinking by Gabriel Weinberg & Lauren McCann
Most of us collect facts. Very few of us collect models.
In Super Thinking, Weinberg and McCann break down the mental models used by the world’s best decision-makers and show you practical ways to make clearer decisions, spot dodgy logic, and cut through complexity.
It’s not about knowing more. It’s about thinking better.
If you want to make smarter decisions, this is a very handy book to have on your shelf. @yegg

Campaign of the Day: Ajinomoto ‘Voice of Food’ by Dentsu
Most recipes are written for the eyes.
Ajinomoto asked a simple question: what if they were written for the ears?
Co-created with Miki, a blind home cook, the brand rebuilt recipes around sound. Sizzling, bubbling, subtle shifts in rhythm became the cues instead of “golden brown” or “until translucent.”
Thirty recipes now feature real cooking audio. Seventy more were rewritten without visual language.
A powerful example of accessibility driving innovation — and a masterclass in sensory priming, proving how the senses quietly shape behaviour. @ajinomoto | @dentsu_global
Campaign of the Day: The Hive ‘Make It Make Sense’ by Saatchi & Saatchi UAE
Language is powerful. Until it isn’t.
In this brilliantly absurd series, familiar phrases are taken completely literally. “Do good and throw it in the sea.” “Break a leg.” Encouragement becomes chaos. Kindness becomes confusion.
It’s funny. It’s uncomfortable. And it makes a sharp point about how easily meaning gets lost when language isn’t clear.
Why We Get Money Wrong
We like to think we’re rational with money. We’re not.
In this clip, Dan Ariely and Chris Rawlinson explore how we judge value through a relative lens. Same saving. Different context. Completely different behaviour. @danariely

Campaign of the Day: Snickers + Mars ‘Peanut Butter Focus Group’ by BBDO N.Y.
Instead of picking a side, Snickers decided to end the argument altogether.
To launch Snickers Peanut Butter, the brand assembled a focus group made up entirely of people named Reese. Yes, really. Then let comedian Eric André capture their gloriously unfiltered reactions.
A clever way to turn a long-running cultural debate into pure entertainment. Playful, confident and completely on-brand. @SNICKERS | @BBDONY | @BBDOWorldwide

Ad of the Day: On Negocios ‘Dino’ by Lemon
We all know that little Chrome dinosaur.
On Negocios turned it into every business owner’s worst nightmare.
In this clever ad, the pixelated offline icon bursts out of the browser and storms an office, wreaking havoc as the internet drops. It’s chaotic, dramatic and painfully relatable.
A smart way to highlight a universal frustration using great storytelling.
The Psychology of Reciprocity
Reciprocity is one of the most powerful forces in human behaviour. And most people use it badly.
In this clip, Dan Ariely and Chris Rawlinson unpack how reciprocity really works and why good intentions don’t always lead to influence. @danariely

Book of the Day 📘: The Story of Stories by Kevin Ashton
We tell stories to make sense of the world. But where did storytelling itself begin?
From cave paintings to smartphones, storytelling has shaped who we are.
In The Story of Stories, Kevin Ashton explores how each new storytelling tool expands who gets to speak and who gets to listen. @Kevin_Ashton
A fascinating look at the million-year journey of the most human thing we do: tell stories. https://t.co/V0aTr0X59Y
