@BladeoftheS Those with millions in assets will have very creative ways of avoiding such a tax. Off shore funds, businesses registered in tax havens and other trusts. People who are not on 6 figures will still pay a far higher proportion of their income in tax and NI than millionaires

@stuey_beef It's part of your terms and conditions. A big chunk of your pay and employer contributions going into the pension, lower salary as a result with the proviso of a more substantial pension in retirement. Government can and have changed the conditions and it is a worse scheme now

@KeithRi48760131 It is disgusting that a pension that someone has contributed to through their national insurance over a lifetime is classed as a 'benefit'. It is a pension, language matters. As long as they call it a benefit it can be means tested and therefore removed
