@Seanmcauliffe10 @NolteNC Depends on where you lived. Murders were, just as now, very localized to specific violent, lawless urban areas. If you were in one of those areas, then yes, you were statistically in more danger. Outside of those areas, the danger was (and still is) very low.

And if you're not part of the ruling caste, you're a slave. ("Communism" is a myth to keep the slaves docile.)
