The X1.3 flare yesterday was caused by this active region, AR 4482. You may remember it from the far side (image #3), where we tracked it with the help of Solar Orbiter images. It is currently unclear how big or complex it is, the trailing part is still rotating into view. It's certainly something to keep an eye on over the coming days.
