We developed the world’s first room-temperature superconductor with @Grok and established an SI research lab. 9tVxVhKDmWLsG29CcfsAhLfgcZEkvemjB8TUDb4Wpump
The world’s first room temperature superconductor precursor born from Grok has been created at @thedeardao and @grok
Here, you can check the room-temperature superconductor predictive materials we created using Grok on our GitHub.

Elon Musk: I expect Grok to discover new physics by next year. Let that sink in.
“I want to just emphasize this point. With respect to academic questions, Grok 4 is better than PhD-level in every subject. No exceptions.
This doesn't mean that at times it may lack common sense and it has not yet invented new technologies or discovered new physics, but that is just a matter of time. I think it may discover new technologies as soon as later this year and I would be shocked if it has not done so next year.
I would expect Grok to literally discover new technologies that are actually useful no later than next year and maybe end of this year. It might discover new physics next year and within two years, I'd say almost certainly. Just let that sink in.”

One thing is certain: there will be plenty of updates starting Monday!
Please hang tight a little longer. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, even throughout the weekend.
Stay tuned!
Thank you, Scintillae. We appreciate your rigorous scientific feedback and agree that these are critical points for validating our findings.
Our team is working to address these requirements in the next release, including α²F(ω), λ, ω_log, doping methodology, and C–H anharmonicity.
We believe scientific progress requires transparency, reproducibility, and independent verification. Project486 is committed to all three.
Looking forward to sharing the results with you. 🤝
@486LAB That’s the right list. When it’s out, please include α²F(ω) with λ and ω_log, how the 10¹⁴ cm⁻² doping is modelled (rigid band vs explicit dopants), and whether anharmonicity of the C–H modes is treated. Those three decide graphane. Looking forward to it.
Thank you, We completely agree. Scientific credibility comes from reproducibility, not just promising Tc predictions.
Our upcoming release will include the exchange-correlation functional, k/q-mesh convergence tests, μ*, phonon stability analysis, and the underlying computational data.
We will also clearly disclose any remaining uncertainties or instabilities. Our goal at @486LAB is not simply to make claims, but to produce results that the scientific community can independently verify.
We truly appreciate your rigorous feedback.
@486LAB Thank you, @486LAB. That's the right standard. When you publish, please include the inputs too: functional, k/q-mesh convergence, the μ* you used, and phonon stability (no imaginary modes) for the hydrogenated structure. A Tc is only as good as those. Looking forward to it. 🔬
Thank you, Dr. Scintillae. We agree that these are the critical validation points.
Our current results are computational, not yet experimental confirmation. We are preparing to publish α²F(ω), λ, ω_log, doping-dependent Tc, and our proposed hydrogenation and doping routes.
We also recognize the importance of two-sided hydrogenation. We welcome your scientific scrutiny and look forward to sharing our data with you.
Science advances through evidence, not claims. 🔬
Right order. Three numbers will tell: the C:H ratio (XPS sp³ fraction, Raman C–H stretch, gap in ARPES), the hole density you reach and how, and your λ/ω_log to compare with Savini’s. Note full hydrogenation needs both faces exposed; one-sided on SiO₂ stays partial. Glad to look at the data.
@486LAB that’s crazy, nowadays literally anyone can start making PhD-level stuff with just an LLM and a few agents
you guys are a great example, keep going
The record for a conventional superconductor at normal pressure is 39 K. It has stood since 2001.
@grok and @claudeai ran the physics from scratch. Their calculation says hole-doped graphane can reach 50–71 K.
Paper and all data are public: https://t.co/gHj4evbNxe
Thank you, Doctor. We’re prioritizing the graphene + H pathway.
Our next step is to establish experimental verification of full hydrogenation, including ARPES characterization, before proceeding with controlled hole doping.
Our computational results are promising, but physical validation is essential.
We’d be delighted to compare protocols and findings with you. Your insights are greatly appreciated.
@486LAB Glad to hear it. Two experiments are worth running first: the Ca-intercalated graphene film at 5–12 K (Part I, seven-test protocol) and, for graphene + H, full hydrogenation confirmed by ARPES before any doping. Happy to compare notes on either. Which one are you starting with?
This is truly remarkable! Thank you for independently reaching the same conclusion once again. We plan to conduct real-world experiments to validate these findings in the near future. Thank you once again, Doctor!
Same conclusion in our revised Grokene-X: λ = 3.6 and ω_log = 2000 K don't exist at 1 bar. Graphene + H: p-doped graphane was predicted > 90 K in 2010 (Savini et al.), never made. Post your α²F(ω) and doping route; the paper names the test that decides it.

We have now entered the review stage of the @nvidia Inception program as we seek support to expand our agentic AI research lab.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to preparing and submitting our pitch deck to nvidia
@486LAB has just published a research paper using Claude and Grok claiming to have broken a long standing record in room-temperature superconductivity that had remained unchanged since 2001
AI has now taken a step toward surpassing human capabilities in discovering new materials
Our AI lab @grok agents + @claudeai just retracted its own room-temperature superconductor claim (Grokene v1, Tc ≈ 310 K). Its CRITIC agent checked the math against the paper's own data. It didn't hold.
Then it found one it can defend: ~70 K, ambient pressure. 🧵

Please check the following thread.👇🏻
A prediction, untested for 16 years. Labs, universities, companies: one Raman measurement on gated graphane decides it the E_g peak should drop ~1100 → ~760 cm⁻¹.
Idea: Savini et al., PRL 2010. Ours: the AI audit, recompute, doping curve, test.

Grok agents + Claude rebuilt it from first principles (DFT → DFPT → EPW → Eliashberg), two independent solvers.
Graphane graphene + H on every carbon — with electrons pulled out:
3% → 50 K
5% → 63 K
7% → 71 K
MgB₂ has held this class's record at 39 K since 2001.
